CEO Chuck Schwerin, BA, MA
Prior to joining Sonostics, Mr. Schwerin directed the implementation of worldwide software copy protection and license management for Pitney Bowes Software. He designed product roadmaps for engineering and collaborated with Product and Corporate Marketing to message platform strategy internally as well as to the marketplace. Mr. Schwerin managed partnerships to assist the expansion of MapInfo’s software and data products into Eastern Europe, Central and South America, Japan and China. In 1990, Mr. Schwerin founded Environmental Data Systems, a Saratoga Springs, NY software firm which supplied electronic medical records and waste management compliance software.
CSO Kenneth McLeod, Ph.D. Chief Scientific Officer.
Dr. McLeod is internationally known for his work in the study of muscle activity and its effect on skeletal adaptation, and the link between muscle activity of the lower extremities and cardiovascular function. Dr. McLeod is the principal developer of the vibromyography (VMG) technology and its applications. Dr. McLeod serves as chair of the Department of Bioengineering in the Watson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Binghamton. He is the holder of more than 25 patents in the healthcare field (two in vibromyography) and has been a founder in seven new ventures since 1980. Of these, six have been based on technologies developed in his laboratory, two have been acquired, and three executed IPOs, including Exogen, Inc.
CFO David Lovenheim, BA, JD, Managing Director, Keystones Global, LLC
Mr. Lovenheim provides financial and strategic consulting services to start-up ventures. He has extensive experience as a director of entrepreneurial firms, including medical device firms, and has guided financing strategy for early-stage companies since the early 1980s.

Steve Pittari, BS IE, MBA
Mr. Pittari received his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, NY and his MBA from San Jose State University. Currently Director of OEM Program Management for Park Electrochemical, Mr. Pittari was most recently COO at Sonostics. Previously at Sanmina, Inc. a global leader in electronics manufacturing, Mr. Pittari had P/L responsibility for manufacturing site with sales in excess of 100 million dollars per year as Vice President and General Manager.
